Esquivel Latin-Esque stereo action baby

The rockovergraceland hifi has been getting a work out since the cool folks at These records are bent and Xtabays World have been sharing a cool cool collection of stereo action LP'S from early 60'd RCA ..with great sound and even greater cover art.. the folks at These records are bent were looking for this LP by the king of all lounges Esquivel enjoy baby....

for more back ground on STEREO ACTION LPS check here

Latin-Esque was the first album recorded with total stereo separation — two separate orchestras in two separate studios performed, connected by headphones. The results are fairly fantastic. Latin-Esque also is Esquivel's first stereo album in the Latin-esque style of his great first album, To Love Again. ("Jungle Drums" from that LP is updated here.) The artist's jaw-dropping masterpiece of zany pop, "Mucho Muchacha," is a highlight. "Carioca," "La Paloma," and several other standards also were well-chosen for this project. This album was essential to the renaissance of Esquivel's popularity in the 1990s

Thanks for this Esquivel. I've been looking all over for this one. I've got Bernie Green's 'Futura' posted at my blog:

Lots of "Stereo Action" going on with the blogs lately, but this one wins the prize hands down. Sorry, all you others who've shared (and I AM grateful), but this one is AMAZING. The sound is simply spectacular. My poor little speakers didn't know what hit 'em!

What I want to know is why don't artists take advantage of stereo like this anymore? So much new music is muddy and poorly mixed and then something like THIS comes along and reminds me what all the fuss over stereo was about.

THANK >>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<< YOU
